Bowl - Spalted Ambrosia Maple - $50
This amazing piece of wood is the result of two different natural processes.
The Ambrosia beetle has a fungus on its shell, the fungus begins to decompose the wood leaving the color behind. The beetle eats the decomposing wood.
Then, mushrooms grew on the log. As they infiltrate the wood they leave the additional color behind with black zone lines appearing where two different types encounter each other.
